Code: FDS332/037
The C-TEC ECU-4 SigTEL 4 Way Master Controller is a four-line emergency voice communication system controller designed for disabled refuge, fire telephone and stadium marshalling applications. It allows operators to communicate with up to four disabled refuge or fire telephone outstations from a single control point.
The controller features a backlit 128 x 64 pixel LCD display and an auto-learn facility to support quick system configuration. A semi-recessed handset helps reduce projection from the enclosure, while clear status indicators provide visibility of disablement, system fault, PSU fault, general fault and power conditions. Operator controls include scroll buttons, Hold, Call Accept, Function, Directory and Silence Buzzer.
For larger installations, the ECU-4 can form part of a networked SigTEL system supporting up to 224 lines with optional or additional desk unit control. It can also interface with C-TEC NC951 accessible toilet alarms, PDA range hearing loop systems, strobes, CCTV activation relays and other suitable equipment using its available outputs.
When fitted with two 12V 7Ah VRLA batteries connected in series, operation can be maintained for up to 24 hours in standby followed by 3 hours in use. The metal enclosure is finished in RAL7035 grey texture and can be semi-flush mounted using an EVC385 bezel. When correctly installed, the system facilitates compliance with BS 5839-9.
