£1,199.71
INC VAT
Code: FDS332/036
The C-TEC ECU-8 SigTEL 8 Line Master Controller is designed for disabled refuge, fire telephone and stadium marshalling applications, providing central control and communication with up to eight disabled refuge or fire telephone outstations.
The controller incorporates a semi-recessed handset alongside a backlit 128 x 64 pixel LCD display, giving operators clear access to system information, calls and fault indications. Dedicated controls include scroll buttons, Hold, Call Accept, Function, Directory and Silence Buzzer, while status indicators cover disablement, system fault, PSU fault, general fault and power.
An automatic ‘auto-learn’ facility assists with system set-up, helping reduce commissioning time. For larger installations, improved SigTEL networking capability allows systems of up to 224 lines to be created, with optional additional desk unit control. The ECU-8 can also be semi-flush mounted using an optional EVC385 bezel.
The controller can interface with equipment including NC951 accessible toilet alarms, PDA range hearing loop systems, strobes and CCTV activation relays. Three open collector outputs provide additional signalling options, including activation when the controller rings, when an accessible toilet alarm is active and when the handset is off hook.
Backup operation can be maintained for 24 hours in standby followed by 3 hours in use when fitted with two 12V 7Ah VRLA batteries. The ECU-8 facilitates compliance with BS 5839-9 when correctly installed.
