The Ajax Superior NVR H2D Series with PoE Ports is a range of AI-powered network video recorders designed for professional IP CCTV surveillance systems.
Available in 8, 16 and 32-channel configurations, these recorders combine intelligent video analytics, integrated Power over Ethernet (PoE) connectivity, 4K HDMI output and dual hard drive support for reliable video monitoring and recording.
Featuring 8 or 16 integrated PoE ports, depending on the model, the NVRs allow compatible IP cameras to receive power and network connectivity through a single Ethernet cable, reducing the need for separate camera power supplies.
Built-in AI processing enables connected cameras to recognise people, pets and vehicles, even when the cameras do not have their own AI capabilities. Supporting AI analytics on up to 12 channels, the recorders provide intelligent motion detection, event notifications and automated security responses without requiring camera replacements.
Each recorder accommodates two hot-swappable hard drives with a combined capacity of up to 24TB, allowing drives to be replaced without shutting down the system. Redundancy mode duplicates footage across both drives for backup protection, while split mode distributes recordings between drives to optimise storage utilisation.
Ajax's proprietary JetSparrow technology provides encrypted video streaming, fast archive navigation and remote access through Ajax apps. The integrated video management system also supports local monitoring through a 4K HDMI connection, including operation without an internet connection.
With ONVIF Profile G and S conformity, RTSP support and integration with Ajax video devices and third-party IP cameras, the Superior NVR H2D PoE range provides a flexible recording solution for commercial properties, offices and larger CCTV installations.
