The Ajax Superior NVR H2D Series is a range of AI-powered network video recorders designed for professional IP CCTV surveillance systems. Available in 16 and 32-channel configurations, these recorders combine intelligent video analytics, 4K HDMI output and dual hard drive support to provide flexible video monitoring and recording.
Featuring built-in AI processing, the NVRs enable connected IP cameras to recognise people, pets and vehicles, including third-party cameras without integrated AI capabilities. Supporting intelligent analytics on up to 12 channels, the recorders provide targeted motion detection, event notifications and automated security responses without requiring existing cameras to be replaced.
Each recorder accommodates two hot-swappable 3.5-inch hard drives with a combined storage capacity of up to 24TB, allowing drives to be replaced without shutting down the system. Redundancy mode duplicates recordings across both drives to provide a backup, while split mode distributes footage between drives to optimise storage capacity and balance hard drive usage.
Ajax's proprietary JetSparrow technology enables encrypted video streaming, fast archive navigation and remote access through Ajax apps. The integrated video management system also supports local monitoring and archive playback through a 4K HDMI connection, including operation without an internet connection.
The Superior NVR H2D GAC models feature two Gigabit Ethernet ports, providing network connectivity without integrated PoE camera ports. This makes them suitable for CCTV installations where cameras are powered separately or connected through existing network infrastructure.
With ONVIF Profile G and S conformity, RTSP support and compatibility with Ajax video devices and third-party IP cameras, the range provides a versatile recording solution for commercial premises, offices and larger video surveillance installations.
