Ajax Superior TurretCam HFVL

The Ajax Superior TurretCam HLVF is a wired, AI-powered IP CCTV camera designed for indoor and outdoor video surveillance.

Available in 4MP and 8MP versions, it combines a motorised varifocal P-Iris lens, intelligent object recognition, hybrid illumination and True WDR technology to deliver detailed video footage across a range of lighting conditions.

Featuring a 2.8–12mm motorised varifocal lens with autofocus, the camera allows users to adjust the field of view remotely through Ajax apps. The P-Iris lens system automatically balances contrast and sharpness, helping maintain image clarity when monitoring wide areas or focusing on specific details.

Hybrid illumination combines infrared and white light to support colour recording after dark. When an object is detected, the camera automatically switches from infrared to white light to capture additional detail. Infrared illumination provides coverage up to 60 metres, while white light illumination reaches up to 40 metres.

Built-in AI recognition distinguishes between people, pets and vehicles, supporting more targeted motion detection and video alarm verification. Two integrated microphones with noise suppression and echo cancellation, together with a built-in speaker, enable two-way audio communication.

The camera incorporates Ajax's proprietary JetSparrow technology for secure video streaming and convenient archive navigation. ONVIF Profile G and S conformity and RTSP support provide integration options with compatible third-party video management systems.

Designed for demanding environments, the IP67-rated enclosure with IK10 impact protection provides resistance to dust, water and mechanical impacts. Power can be supplied through PoE or a 12V DC connection, while local microSD storage allows the camera to operate without an Ajax NVR.
