Ajax Baseline TurretCam

The Ajax TurretCam 5MP 2.8mm White is a wired IP security camera designed for indoor and outdoor video surveillance, combining a 5MP image sensor with a fixed 2.8mm lens, IR illumination and built-in AI-powered object recognition. Its wide 100°–110° viewing angle makes it suitable for monitoring larger areas where broad scene coverage is required.

The camera records at up to 2880 × 1620 resolution at 25fps and supports H.265 and H.264 video compression. True WDR helps maintain image quality in scenes with challenging lighting, while IR illumination provides visibility at distances of up to 50m in low-light conditions.

Built-in AI can recognise people, pets and vehicles, helping improve event detection and video verification. A digital microphone provides audio capture, while motion detection and configurable detection zones can be managed through Ajax mobile and desktop apps. The camera also supports visual verification of Ajax system alarms and automation scenarios.

For connectivity, the TurretCam supports PoE 802.3at/af and 12V DC power, with a 10/100Mbps Ethernet interface. It can operate with an Ajax NVR or store footage locally on a microSD card of up to 256GB when installed. ONVIF Profile G and S and RTSP support provide additional video integration options.

The IP66-rated enclosure and IK08 impact resistance support installation in demanding indoor and outdoor environments. Remote configuration, real-time system health monitoring and secure video transmission through Ajax JetSparrow technology help simplify ongoing operation and management.
