Ajax Baseline KeyPad Outdoor Wireless Keypad

The Ajax Baseline KeyPad Outdoor Jeweller is a wireless security keypad designed for both outdoor and indoor use, supporting authentication by access code, Ajax Pass cards, Tag key fobs and compatible smartphones. Its IP66-rated enclosure and large mechanical buttons make it suitable for convenient arming and disarming at entrances where dependable operation is required.

Contactless authentication is supported through Pass cards and Tag key fobs using DESFire technology, with capacity for up to 200 access devices. Smartphones can also be used through Bluetooth via BLE technology, with support for up to 200 smartphones. Access permissions can be configured remotely through Ajax apps.

The keypad supports multiple code types, including personal codes for registered users, codes for unregistered users, a keypad code and an RRU code. Up to 200 personal access codes and up to 99 codes for unregistered users can be configured. Duress codes are also supported, allowing a user to discreetly signal an alarm when forced to disarm the system.

Communication with the Ajax hub uses Jeweller wireless technology, providing encrypted data transmission and a radio communication range of up to 1,700 m in open space. Frequency hopping helps protect communication against radio interference and jamming.

Additional functions include a built-in buzzer for alarm and status indications, panic button functionality, automation device control during security mode changes and optional code confirmation when arming or disarming using access devices.

The keypad is supplied with a SmartBracket mounting panel and installation kit, while a built-in bubble level assists accurate positioning. Two pre-installed CR123A batteries provide up to three years of operation, with optional 10.5–14 V DC external power also supported.
