Ajax Baseline DoubleButton Wireless Hold-Up Device

The Ajax Baseline DoubleButton Wireless Hold-Up Device is a compact wireless alarm device designed to reduce the risk of accidental activation. An alarm is triggered only when both buttons are pressed simultaneously, while a physical plastic divider helps prevent unintended operation when the device is carried in a pocket or bag.

DoubleButton Jeweller also supports alarm confirmation. This can be carried out by pressing both buttons twice using short and long presses in any sequence, providing a deliberate method of confirming an alarm event.

Communication with the Ajax hub uses Jeweller wireless technology, providing encrypted data transmission and a radio communication range of up to 1,300 m in open space. Frequency hopping is used to help prevent interference and radio signal jamming. The device is compatible with specified Ajax hubs and ReX range extenders, while Ajax Superior, Fibra and Baseline product lines are stated as mutually compatible.

Installation and configuration are handled through Ajax apps, with no enclosure disassembly or battery installation required. The device can be carried on a lace or keychain or mounted to a surface using the separately available Holder bracket.

A pre-installed CR2032 battery provides up to five years of operation, helping minimise routine maintenance. The compact IP55-rated enclosure measures 47 × 35 × 16 mm and is available in black or white. The device complies with EN 50131 Grade 2, PD 6662:2017, SIA CP-01 and UL2610.
