The VESDA-E VEP-A00-1P is a single-pipe aspirating smoke detector with LED status display, designed to deliver the earliest and most reliable warning of fire.

Built on advanced Flair™ detection technology, it offers exceptional sensitivity, long-term stability and rejection of nuisance alarms.

Ideal for mission-critical, commercial and high-sensitivity environments, this model provides absolute calibration, a wide dynamic range and built-in tools for intelligent commissioning and airflow learning.

It covers areas up to 1,000 m², making it suitable for applications such as server rooms, prisons, switchboards and cleanrooms. This version features a clear LED display to show alarm and system status at a glance.

What is the difference between VEP and VLP series?

The VEP series uses newer Flair™ detection technology and supports Ethernet, Wi-Fi and VESDAnet. It also features absolute calibration and higher performance across airflow and detection range.

Can I upgrade from a VESDA LaserPLUS using the same pipework?

Yes. The VEP-A00-1P is backward-compatible with existing pipe layouts and even uses the same mounting footprint and wiring.

How many sampling holes can I use on this detector?

Up to 30 holes, compliant with EN54-20 Class A, B or C depending on the application.

Can this unit be configured remotely?

Yes. The detector supports Ethernet and Wi-Fi connections for remote access using Xtralis VSC or configuration software.

Does this unit have a built-in display?

Yes. This model includes an LED display for easy visual status indication including power, fault, action and alarm states.
