The VESDA-E VEP-A00-P is a four-pipe aspirating smoke detector offering high-performance, very early warning fire detection across large or high-risk spaces.

Using the advanced Flair™ detection technology, this model delivers enhanced sensitivity, nuisance alarm rejection and long-term reliability.

Designed for challenging environments where smoke detection speed is critical, the VEP-A00-P provides superior area coverage (up to 2,000 m²) and flexible pipe configurations. Its intuitive LED display offers local system status at a glance.

With multiple alarm levels, wide sensitivity range and AutoLearn™ commissioning, this detector is ideal for data centres, warehouses, correctional facilities and heritage buildings.

What makes the four-pipe VEP better than a single-pipe version?

The four-pipe version allows longer pipe runs, higher coverage and more sampling points – ideal for larger or more complex buildings.

Can I use this in place of an older VESDA LaserPLUS?

Yes. The VEP-A00-P is fully backward-compatible with legacy VESDA pipe layouts and uses the same mounting footprint.

What does the LED display show?

The LED panel indicates system status including power, fault, action and alarm levels – great for on-site visual confirmation.

Can I connect this detector to a remote configuration tool?

Yes. The detector supports Ethernet, Wi-Fi and VESDAnet for remote monitoring and programming via Xtralis software.

How many sampling holes can this model support?

Up to 100 sampling holes depending on pipe design and EN54-20 class requirements.
