Pepperl-Fuchs KFD0-SD2-Ex2.1045 Galvanic Isolator - Dual Channel - Eex

The Pepperl+Fuchs KFD0-SD2-Ex2.1045 is a dual-channel galvanic isolator / solenoid driver designed for intrinsic safety applications in hazardous areas.

It provides a reliable interface between safe-area control systems and field devices such as solenoids, LEDs and audible alarms installed in Zone 0, 1 or 2 environments.

This loop-powered isolated barrier derives its output energy directly from the input signal and delivers a controlled, resistive output suitable for intrinsically safe operation. At full load, it supplies up to 10 V at 45 mA to hazardous-area devices, ensuring dependable actuation while maintaining strict safety limits.

Certified up to SIL 3 in accordance with IEC/EN 61508 and approved for global hazardous-area use (ATEX, IECEx, FM and UL), the KFD0-SD2-Ex2.1045 is ideal for safety-critical process control, fire protection, alarm signalling and industrial automation systems.

The slim DIN-rail housing allows easy installation in control panels where space is limited.
