The E2S IS-mA1 is a compact, high-output intrinsically safe alarm sounder designed for hazardous area signalling applications. It delivers a powerful 100 dB(A) audible warning, making it suitable for environments where clear and reliable alarm indication is critical.

The sounder is approved for use in Zone 0 hazardous areas, with ATEX, IECEx and GOST-R certification, and also carries FM approval for Class I Division 1 and Class I Zone 0 applications.

It is suitable for a wide range of intrinsically safe signalling systems including fire alarm, security and process control installations.

The IS-mA1 includes built-in protection against input overload and reverse current, helping to safeguard connected systems. An end-of-line resistor is certified, supporting reliable system monitoring and fault detection.

The sounder features auto-synchronised sound output for consistent operation across multiple devices, with support for custom tone configurations and frequencies to suit site-specific alarm requirements.
