Hochiki CHQ-WSB2(WHT)/RL Wall Sounder Beacon (White Case - Red LEDs)

The Hochiki CHQ‑WSB2(WHT)/RL Wall Sounder Beacon is a high-performance, addressable loop-powered fire alarm notification device designed to provide both audible and visual alarm signalling in fire detection systems. Featuring an integrated high-intensity LED beacon and configurable sounder output, this unit ensures effective occupant alerting in commercial and industrial environments.

Designed for compatibility with the Hochiki ESP addressable fire alarm system, the device operates directly from the loop, reducing installation complexity while maintaining low current consumption. The sounder provides a powerful audible output of up to 102 dB(A) with multiple selectable tones to suit different fire alarm signalling requirements.

The device is supplied in a white housing with red LED beacon and is designed for wall mounting using either the Hochiki YBO‑R/3 Standard Base or Hochiki YBO‑R/SCI Isolator Base, offering flexible installation within addressable fire alarm systems.

With EN54-3 and EN54-23 compliance, the unit meets key European standards for audible and visual fire alarm devices. The integrated beacon uses high-intensity LED technology and can be configured to flash at 0.5 Hz or 1 Hz, providing clear visual warning in addition to the sounder.

For installations requiring additional environmental protection, the unit can be upgraded with the Hochiki WS2‑WPK Weatherproof Kit, allowing the device to be used in harsher environments by adding a weatherproof back box and gasket set.

An auto-shutdown function allows installers to set a fixed operational duration for the sounder before it automatically silences, helping reduce unnecessary noise during prolonged alarm conditions or testing.
