The Apollo ORB-HT-41001-MAR Orbis Marine A1R Heat Detector with Marine TimeSaver Diode Base is designed for reliable heat detection in marine and high-humidity environments.

The detector uses a single thermistor to continuously monitor the surrounding air temperature, making it suitable for applications where smoke detection may be unreliable due to dust, fumes or airborne contaminants.

An open-web casing allows air to flow freely across the thermistor, with temperature readings taken every two seconds. An onboard microprocessor analyses stored temperature data against preset alarm thresholds to determine when the alarm level has been reached.

The included Orbis Marine TimeSaver Diode Base helps reduce installation time by simplifying wiring and providing secure, consistent detector connection during commissioning and maintenance.
