The Apollo 58000-400MAR Discovery Marine Heat Detector uses a single thermistor to continuously monitor the air temperature surrounding the detector.
By responding to temperature change rather than smoke, it is well suited to marine and industrial environments where smoke detectors may be prone to false alarms due to dust, fumes or airborne contaminants.
The detector is unaffected by wind or changes in atmospheric pressure, making it a reliable choice for exposed or mechanically ventilated areas.
It is designed for use on Apollo Discovery marine addressable systems and provides dependable heat detection in challenging conditions.
Ideal for dirty, dusty or smoky environments
Unaffected by wind or atmospheric pressure changes
Single thermistor temperature sensing
Remote test facility for maintenance and commissioning
Compatible with Apollo Discovery marine systems
