Ajax KeyPad Plus Jeweller (White)

The Ajax KeyPad Plus Jeweller is a wireless touch keypad for managing compatible Ajax security systems. It supports arming, disarming and Night Mode control using access codes, Ajax Pass cards or Ajax Tag key fobs, giving authorised users several convenient ways to operate the system.

Contactless authentication uses DESFire technology to provide fast and secure identification. A single Ajax Pass or Tag can be used with up to 13 security systems, while cards and key fobs are protected against unauthorised copying. Depending on the connected hub, the keypad can support up to 200 contactless access devices and up to 200 personal access codes.

The keypad also supports codes for registered users, unregistered users and remote monitoring units. Duress codes can discreetly simulate normal system disarming while sending a silent alarm to a security company. A configurable function button can operate as a panic button or mute interconnected fire detector alarms.

Jeweller radio communication provides encrypted two-way communication with the hub or compatible range extender. The stated wireless communication range is up to 1,700 metres in an open space, while regular polling allows the system to monitor the keypad’s current status and identify communication loss.

Installation is completed using the supplied SmartBracket mounting panel, with the keypad paired to the hub by scanning its QR code. Settings, access rights and user codes can then be managed remotely through Ajax apps.

Powered by four pre-installed AA batteries, the KeyPad Plus Jeweller offers a stated battery life of up to 3.5 years. Tamper protection alerts the system if the keypad is removed from its mounting surface.
