Ajax Baseline DoorProtect U Wireless Reed-Switch Opening Detector (White)

The Ajax Baseline DoorProtect U Wireless Reed-Switch Opening Detector is designed to detect the opening of doors and windows within Ajax intrusion alarm systems.

Using two reed switches, the detector provides reliable opening detection and supports installation with the magnet positioned on either the left or right side of the device.

The detector communicates with a compatible Ajax hub using Jeweller radio technology, offering a wireless communication range of up to 1,200 metres in open space.

Data transmission is encrypted and device status is regularly monitored to maintain system integrity.

An integrated input allows connection of a third-party wired detector with a normally closed (NC) contact, providing additional flexibility during installation. The detector also supports the Ajax Chime feature, allowing compatible Ajax sirens to notify users when a door is opened while the system is disarmed.

The device is supplied with both large and small magnets, a SmartBracket mounting panel and a pre-installed CR123A battery.

With a battery life of up to seven years, DoorProtect U is suitable for residential and commercial security applications requiring dependable perimeter protection.
