Ajax Baseline MotionProtect U Wireless IR Motion Detector (White)

The Ajax Baseline MotionProtect U Wireless IR Motion Detector (AJ-121295) is a wireless PIR detector designed to identify movement within protected areas and transmit alarm signals to a compatible Ajax hub.

Using a PIR sensor and Ajax Jeweller radio technology, the detector provides motion detection coverage of up to 12 metres with an 88.5° horizontal detection angle. Temperature compensation helps maintain reliable detection performance in both warm and cold environments.

MotionProtect U incorporates SmartDetect software algorithms to reduce false alarms and features adjustable sensitivity levels that can be configured through Ajax apps. Pet immunity allows the detector to ignore animals weighing up to 20kg and up to 50cm in height, making it suitable for occupied residential and commercial environments.

The detector communicates with a compatible Ajax hub at distances of up to 1,700 metres in open space and uses encrypted two-way communication with device authentication to protect against spoofing and interference. Tamper protection and frequency hopping technology provide additional security against sabotage attempts.

Powered by a pre-installed CR123A battery, MotionProtect U offers up to 5 years of operation and can be installed quickly using the supplied SmartBracket mounting panel.
