Paxton 521-715 TOUCHLOCK Vandal Resistant Metal Keypad

The Paxton 521-715 TOUCHLOCK Vandal Resistant Metal Keypad provides PIN or code-based access control for Paxton Switch2 and Net2 systems. Designed for more demanding access points, it uses a chrome plated zinc alloy construction and offers high vandal resistance, making it suitable for commercial, public-facing and exposed internal or external door entry applications.

The keypad is backlit for improved visibility, helping users enter codes clearly in lower light conditions. By default, all 3 LEDs are lit, while successful access is confirmed by a flashing green LED and audible tone. Incorrect PIN entries do not return an access denied response, helping avoid giving unnecessary feedback at the door.

With IPX7 moisture resistance and an operating temperature range of -20°C to +55°C, the keypad is suitable for a wide range of installation environments. It is supplied with a 5m cable and supports cable extension up to 25m or 100m depending on the cable type used.

The 521-715 can be installed using the surface mount box or mounting plate and is designed to be wired in line with the control unit label. Its robust metal housing and straightforward keypad operation make it a practical choice for controlled access points where durability and simple user authentication are required.
