The Hochiki YBN-R/6SK(WHT) Schottky Diode Base is a conventional detector mounting base designed to provide enhanced system reliability through built-in line continuity.

Featuring an in-line Schottky diode, this base maintains circuit continuity when a detector is removed, allowing greater flexibility during installation, testing and maintenance. This means devices such as manual call points can be wired in any order on the zone when used with a suitable control panel and end-of-line device.

Compatible with the Hochiki CDX range and most conventional fire alarm control panels, the base offers a versatile solution for a wide range of fire detection systems. It also includes an integral remote indicator output, enabling clear visual indication of alarm activation where required.

Designed for ease of installation, the base features square cable clamps for secure and quick wiring, and a bayonet slot connection for low insertion force when fitting detectors. Its low-profile, rugged design ensures durability while maintaining a neat and unobtrusive finish.
