Hochiki DFG-60BLKJE Conventional Waterproof Fixed Temperature 60°C Heat Detector

The Hochiki DFG-60BLKJE is a conventional waterproof fixed temperature heat detector designed for use in challenging environments where condensation, moisture or wash-down conditions may be present.

Rated at 60°C, it uses a bi-metallic strip to detect temperature change, helping deliver reliable performance with minimal standby current.

Its waterproof design, rated to IP67, makes it particularly well suited to areas exposed to high levels of condensation or where equipment may be hosed down.

The detector has a wide operating margin, allowing it to respond to both slow and rapid rises in temperature.

It can also detect temperature reliably in either a horizontal or vertical position, offering greater flexibility during installation.

The DFG-60BLKJE does not require a mounting base, with short flying leads provided for connection to the conventional zone and remote LED.

Where a back box is needed, the detector can be mounted using the Hochiki MBB-1 Marine Approved Back Box.
