Hochiki DCD-AE3M Marine Conventional Combined Heat Detector
Code: FDS003/035
Code: FDS003/035
The Hochiki DCD-AE3M Marine Conventional Combined Heat Detector is a marine approved rate of rise heat detector with a fixed 60°C temperature element, designed for conventional marine fire alarm systems.
Using a thermistor and linearising circuit, the detector delivers accurate heat detection in environments where smoke detection may be unsuitable, such as kitchens, galleys, drying rooms or areas affected by steam and cooking fumes.
The detector is compatible with the majority of conventional fire alarm systems and includes a third terminal for remote indicator connection where remote alarm indication is required.
Twin fire LEDs provide 360° alarm visibility, helping improve alarm indication from multiple viewing angles.
Approved by LPCB and GL for marine applications, the DCD-AE3M is suited to marine installations requiring recognised approvals.
