Hochiki CHQ-PCM(SCI) Plant Control Module with SCI

The Hochiki CHQ-PCM(SCI) Plant Control Module is a loop-powered input/output interface designed to provide reliable control and monitoring of plant equipment within a Hochiki ESP analogue addressable fire alarm system.

The module features four independent change-over relay outputs and four monitored inputs, allowing the fire alarm control panel to activate external devices such as dampers, shutdown systems, or other plant equipment during alarm conditions. Each relay output provides both normally open (N/O) and normally closed (N/C) volt-free contacts for flexible system integration.

In addition to equipment control, the module offers four fully monitored inputs for local fire and fault monitoring. These inputs can be configured to monitor normally open or normally closed volt-free contacts, with monitoring functions that detect both open and short circuit faults to maintain system integrity.

The CHQ-PCM(SCI) includes an integral short-circuit isolator for improved loop protection and can also be supplied in a DIN rail mountable version for easier installation in control panels or cabinets.
