The Hochiki CHQ-DZM(SCI) Dual Zone Monitor with SCI is designed to interface conventional fire detection devices with Hochiki’s ESP analogue addressable fire alarm systems. It enables up to 60 conventional detectors, 30 per zone, to be connected through two independently monitored circuits, providing a reliable way to integrate conventional detection into an addressable system.
The module provides comprehensive monitoring for faults such as disconnection or malfunction and includes a self-test feature via the ESP protocol to maintain system integrity. Addressing is configured using simple DIL switches, ensuring quick and dependable installation.
For enhanced system protection, the CHQ-DZM(SCI) includes an integral short-circuit isolator. The unit is available as a standard OEM module or as a DIN rail mountable version for flexible installation options.
