The Global Fire VULCAN2-ASBI VULCAN 2 - Addressable Base Sounder/Beacon c/w isolator is designed to provide flexible audible and visual warning as part of a fire detection system. It can operate in two modes: Shadow or Auxiliary, and is available with an optional built-in isolator.

In Shadow mode, the unit does not use its own address, allowing more detectors to be installed on the system. In Auxiliary mode, it works alongside a nearby detector, activating when that detector is triggered. This setup helps reduce unnecessary disturbance from false alarms while still giving early warning to occupants if a real fire occurs.

Sound level, tone, and operating mode can all be easily adjusted during installation.
