The Global Fire VALKYRIE-AB(WHT) is a white wall-mounted addressable visual indicating device (VAD) with low power consumption. Up to 32 individually addressed beacons can be installed per loop, using addresses 94 to 125. Addressing is set via switches 1 to 5 on the 8-way DIL switch.

When individual address reporting is not required, the VALKYRIE AB can be configured as a Shadow Beacon. In this mode, the beacon does not occupy a loop address, allowing more detection devices to be installed. Shadow beacons do not report to the control panel, so their presence on the loop is not monitored. They draw current from the loop (3 mA in alarm) and must be considered in loop load calculations.

For applications where a VAD is not strictly required, the VALKYRIE AB provides an excellent solution. Using high-intensity LED technology, it delivers a highly visible flash while maintaining extremely low current consumption.
