EDA Z5020 Zerio Plus 20 Zone Addressable Wireless Fire Alarm Panel

The EDA Z5020 Zerio Plus is a 20-zone fully addressable wireless fire alarm control panel designed for commercial and residential premises where a wired installation may be impractical or disruptive.

Supporting up to 240 addressable devices, the panel can manage compatible Zerio Plus detectors, call points, sounders, transmitters and I/O units across 20 zones. Its 868MHz radio communication allows devices to be installed without field wiring between the panel and system devices, making it suitable for occupied buildings, listed properties, HMOs and retrofit projects.

The four-line backlit LCD provides clear fire, fault and system information, supported by individual red zone alarm LEDs and dedicated status indicators. Five access levels help restrict system functions according to the user, engineer or commissioning role.

System configuration can be completed using the panel keypad, a standard USB keyboard or a USB memory stick programmed from a PC. Automatic setup and intelligent learning modes assist commissioning, while the removable memory module provides a backup of configuration data. The panel also stores up to 255 events for system review and fault investigation.

Advanced cause-and-effect programming allows sounder tones, sounder zones, relays and monitored inputs to be configured around the requirements of the site. Where devices are beyond the direct radio range of the panel, compatible radio boosters and wired transceivers can be added to extend system communication.

The Z5020 complies with EN 54-2, EN 54-4 and EN 54-25 and supports installation in accordance with BS 5839-1.
