The Eaton EFXD01042 xDetect Addressable CIE Panel is a large enclosure fire alarm control panel designed for 1 to 4 loop addressable systems. It includes a 128 zonal indicator and forms part of Eaton’s xDetect range, offering a modular and scalable solution for medium to large commercial fire alarm installations.
The panel features a 7” colour touchscreen with a high-contrast, colour-coded interface designed to make system operation clear and intuitive. Status-based colour coding helps users identify normal, fault and fire conditions more easily, while large icons and familiar screen layouts support day-to-day operation, servicing and emergency response.
The EFXD01042 uses a modular card-based architecture, allowing the system to be configured and expanded in line with site requirements. It is supplied with 1 gateway card and 1 loop 1L Protocol 800 card pre-fitted, with support for up to 200 addressable points per loop and up to 800 addressable points per CIE.
Each loop supports a maximum load of 600mA, helping reduce cabling requirements where higher powered addressable devices are used. The panel also supports fault tolerant ring networking with built-in isolators, allowing up to 250 panels per network and helping maintain communication during a single network fault.
Approved to EN54-2 and EN54-4 and LPCB accredited under 378q/04, the Eaton EFXD01042 is suitable for larger addressable fire alarm systems where compliance, flexibility and clear system indication are required.
