Code: FDS004/550
The Double Pole Resettable Emergency Door Release is a green break glass unit designed to provide a clearly identifiable manual release point for emergency door applications. It can be installed using either surface or flush mounting, providing flexibility for different installation requirements.
The unit uses double pole double throw contacts with normally open, normally closed and common connections, providing two sets of changeover contacts for integration into suitable door release circuits.
Its resettable design allows the unit to be restored after activation using the supplied key, removing the need to replace a glass element after operation. A yellow activation flag provides a clear visual indication when the emergency door release has been activated, helping make system checks and inspections easier.
Measuring 85 x 85 x 60mm, the unit has a compact square format suitable for installation adjacent to controlled doors and emergency exit points. A transparent hinged protective cover is also available separately where additional protection against unintended operation is required.
