Dahua AirShield Wireless Door Detector Plus

The Dahua AirShield Wireless Door Detector Plus is a wireless opening, shock and tilt detector for Dahua smart alarm systems. Designed for non-metal doors and windows, it recognises when an opening is opened, shocked or tilted, helping provide wider intrusion detection than a standard door contact.

Available in two model options: DHI-ARD324-W2(868) and DHI-ARD324-W2(868S). Both versions support the same core functions, including door and window status detection, shock detection, tilt detection, temperature display and overheating alarm support.

The detector uses a triaxial accelerometer and reed switch, with movement detection below 40mm and tilt detection up to 25°. Shock sensitivity can be set to high, normal or low, allowing the device to be configured to suit the installation environment.

For wider system flexibility, the detector can also connect with wired detectors through 1 alarm input supporting normally closed, normally open and impulse count input types. Configuration can be completed through the app, supporting straightforward setup within a Dahua AirShield system.

Wireless communication is supported by two-way communication, AES128 encryption, frequency hopping and jamming detection. The detector also includes tamper detection, low battery detection, test mode, cloud update and automatic recovery from failed cloud updates.

Powered by 1 x CR123A battery, the detector provides up to 3 years of battery life when triggered twice a day with 70% battery efficiency and the external input type set to NO.
