Astro Telescopic Letter Box

The Astro Telescopic Letter Box (12") is a high-performance letterplate designed to improve both security and fire door performance in residential and multi-occupancy buildings.

Featuring outward-facing brush seals, the letterbox helps deter tampering while also improving draught resistance and making it easier for letters to pass through without damage. The design reduces access to the internal cavity, helping to prevent unwanted interference.

The telescopic construction allows for adjustment to suit a range of door thicknesses, while maintaining a secure and professional finish. A durable ABS frame and internal sealing system help protect against water ingress, preventing moisture from entering the door or internal spaces.

The flap opens to 180°, supported by ultra-flexible springs that are designed to withstand repeated use without failure, reducing the risk of snapping often associated with standard letterplates.

This product can be used as part of a wider passive fire protection strategy and works alongside other intumescent products to help maintain fire door integrity and compartmentation.
