Astro Intumescent Fire Door Strip - Fire and Smoke Seal (Brush Type)

Astro Intumescent Fire Door Strips are designed to maintain the integrity and performance of fire doors by sealing gaps and preventing the spread of fire and smoke.

Each seal features a graphite-based intumescent core housed within a durable PVC sleeve, making it easy to install into door frames or leaf rebates while providing long-lasting protection.

In the event of a fire, the intumescent material expands rapidly to many times its original size, sealing the gap around the door to restrict the passage of flames, smoke and hot gases.

These seals are available with or without an integrated cold smoke brush (nylon pile), offering additional protection against smoke, which can travel faster and further than fire.

Supplied with self-adhesive backing as standard, the strips allow for quick and straightforward installation across a wide range of fire door applications.
