The Apollo Wall Loop Powered Visual Alarm Device (VAD) is designed as a primary or supplementary alert for environments where sounders may be missed, such as workshops, machine rooms, or areas with high background noise. It is also ideal for spaces where deaf or hearing-impaired individuals may be present.

Featuring a high-intensity white LED with a 0.5 Hz flash rate, the VAD provides wide-angle visibility and coverage rated W-2.5-7 (EN 54-23, Category W). Automatic LED checks occur whenever the VAD is activated, with a fault signal triggered if the LED fails. The device also includes a secure locking mechanism and synchronises seamlessly with the Apollo Protocol for reliable, coordinated alarm signalling.
