AOV Facade Louvre - SV-W-L1

The SV-W-L1 AOV Facade Louvre is a multi-blade smoke ventilation louvre designed to provide natural smoke and heat extraction from buildings. Installed as part of an Automatic Opening Vent (AOV) system, it provides a means of removing large quantities of warm air and smoke through the building facade, making it suitable for smoke ventilation applications in corridors, lobbies and stairwells.

Featuring a multi-louvred opening design, the SV-W-L1 uses natural ventilation to exhaust smoke and heat without requiring powered airflow. The louvre is available in bespoke sizes to achieve a geometric free area of 1m² or 1.5m², depending on the selected vent dimensions and project requirements.

Constructed with a tempered aluminium frame, the SV-W-L1 offers resistance to corrosion and seawater exposure. It is supplied with 25mm sandwich panel blades as standard, with alternative 25mm polycarbonate or insulated double-glazed blade options available to meet different building specifications.

The louvre is available in a mill finish or custom RAL colours, allowing the external appearance to complement the surrounding facade.

The SV-W-L1 operates using a 24V DC electric actuator, providing an opening angle of 84° with a current consumption of 1A. Its electrically operated blades allow the vent to open for natural smoke exhaust when activated by the associated smoke ventilation system.

Certified and tested in accordance with EN 12101-2, the SV-W-L1 is designed for use in natural smoke ventilation installations requiring certified smoke exhaust equipment.

Each unit is supplied with one facade louvre vent and one actuator. Typical applications include end-of-corridor installations and smoke ventilation at the head of stairwells.
