Ajax Baseline Hub 2 (4G) Jeweller Control Panel

The Ajax Hub 2 (4G) Jeweller is a wireless security control panel that supports photo verification with detectors in the Ajax MotionCam series. When a supported detector triggers an alarm, photos can help users and a security company assess what happened.

The hub has three external communication channels: Ethernet and two SIM cards. The channels operate in parallel, with automatic switching if a connection is interrupted. The SIM slots support 2G, 3G and 4G LTE networks. The hub can report alarms to a security company’s central monitoring station and notify users by push notification, call or SMS.

Jeweller radio technology carries alarms, events and device readings, while Wings transmits photos. Their stated ranges in an open space are up to 2,000 m and 1,700 m respectively. Ajax apps provide remote control, configuration and device status information from a smartphone or PC.

The system supports 50 users, 50 rooms, nine security groups and 32 automation scenarios. It can also integrate up to 25 third-party CCTV cameras or DVRs. A built-in backup battery provides up to 16 hours of operation during a power cut, while tamper protection and connection-loss alerts help identify system issues.
