The Ajax FireProtect Jeweller EN54 Wireless Addressable Sounder/VAD combines audible and visual fire alarm notification in a single wireless device, providing an efficient solution for professional fire alarm installations requiring both sound and visual alarm indication.

Designed for compatible Ajax EN54 wireless fire alarm systems, this combined sounder and visual alarm device is well suited to commercial premises, larger buildings, refurbishment projects and installations where reducing cabling complexity is a priority. By combining two notification functions into one unit, it helps simplify system design, reduce device count and streamline installation.

The unit delivers audible alarm signalling of up to 100dB at 1 metre, with adjustable volume settings and 32 selectable alarm tones to support site-specific configuration. Alongside this, the integrated LED visual alarm frame provides compliant visual signalling, making the device suitable for applications where both audible and visual notification are required.

Visual alarm performance includes a flash sequence of 90ms ON and 1,910ms OFF, with a 2,000ms cycle duration at 0.5Hz. Installation coverage is defined for both ceiling and wall mounting, with an 8m coverage diameter at 3m ceiling height, or 2.4m x 8.2m x 8.2m wall coverage at a 2.4m mounting height.

Ajax Jeweller wireless communication technology provides reliable connectivity up to 1,700 metres in open space, while device activation occurs within 3 seconds of an alarm event. QR code commissioning, SmartBracket mounting, app-based configuration and tool-free battery replacement all help reduce installation and maintenance time.

With up to 5 years of battery life from pre-installed batteries, the device is built for dependable long-term operation in professional wireless fire alarm systems.
