Martyn's Law, also known as the Terrorism (Protection of Premises) Act 2025, is UK legislation designed to protect public venues from terrorism. It encourages venues to put in place clear strategies and procedures to reduce the risk of harm should an attack occur. The legislation separates venues into two tiers: standard and enhanced. Each tier has different criteria to meet, with requirements scaled according to the size of the venue and the number of people it expects to host.
