Code: FDS003/029
The Zeta MKII-AHR Fyreye MkII Addressable Rate of Rise Heat Detector is designed for addressable fire alarm systems requiring dependable heat detection in environments where smoke detection may be unsuitable.
Using a thermistor-based sensing arrangement, the MKII-AHR responds to both rapid temperature increases and a fixed heat threshold of 57°C, providing A1R classification heat detection for applications where early thermal response is required. This makes it suitable for areas such as kitchens, boiler rooms, plant spaces and other environments where dust, steam or airborne contaminants may lead to unwanted smoke alarm activations.
Built for compatibility with the Fyreye MkII addressable range, the detector is compatible with all Fyreye MkII bases and can be addressed via DIP switches or a hand-held programmer, offering installation flexibility depending on project requirements.
The detector includes eight LEDs for improved 360° visual indication, helping make alarm status clearly visible from multiple viewing angles. A remote LED output is also provided for installations where remote indication is required.
For physical security, the detector can be locked to its base to help prevent unauthorised removal. Designed for professional fire alarm installations, the MKII-AHR is LPCB approved and designed to EN54 Part 5 requirements.
