VELUX KFK300 Smoke Vent Break Glass Unit

The VELUX KFK 300 Smoke Vent Break Glass Unit provides manual activation of compatible VELUX smoke ventilation systems. In an emergency, the glass is broken and the button pressed to activate the smoke ventilation windows, providing a clearly accessible manual means of triggering the system.

For monitored installations with more than one break-glass point, KFK 30- units must be wired using continuous single-line connections from the control unit through to the final KFK. Individual connections to multiple KFK units do not permit line monitoring.

The KFK 300 operates at 24 V d.c. and connects directly to the control unit using a 7-core cable with a minimum conductor cross-section of 0.5mm². The permitted maximum cable length is 100m.

Compatibility is confirmed with VELUX KFC 305/310 and KFC 210/220 smoke ventilation systems. The KFK 300 is supplied in grey, specified as RAL 7035 / NCS S 1000-N. Other models in the KFK 300 series are available in red, yellow, blue and orange to meet different local requirements.
