Solo 461-001 Cordless Heat Detector Test Kit

The Solo 461-001 Cordless Heat Detector Test Kit is a professional heat detector tester designed to deliver safe, consistent and repeatable testing of heat detectors during commissioning and routine maintenance.

Its cordless, battery-powered operation gives engineers full mobility on site, removing the need for mains power and making it ideal for large buildings, multi-storey properties and locations where power access is limited.

Using cross-air technology, the tester heats air within the test cup and directs it evenly across the detector sensor. This provides controlled activation without open flame or direct contact, helping to reduce risk and ensure reliable test results.

The Solo 461-001 is suitable for fixed temperature, rate-of-rise and combination heat detectors, supporting testing temperatures of up to 90°C.

Designed for use with Solo fibreglass extension poles (sold separately), the tester allows ceiling-mounted heat detectors to be tested efficiently without ladders or access equipment, saving time during servicing and inspections.
