Paxton 820-000 Proximity Function Card Pack

The Paxton Proximity Function Card Pack is designed for use with Paxton Compact and Switch2 proximity access control systems. It provides the function cards required to unlock and configure more advanced system features, helping installers and site managers adapt access control behaviour without needing complex programming.

The pack is enrolled by presenting the enrolment card from the original card pack, followed by the enrolment card supplied in the function card pack. Once enrolled, the cards can be used to configure different system functions directly at the reader.

Included functions support zoning by token colour, time zones, remote release, barring all users, card plus PIN and relay toggle operation. This allows access permissions and system behaviour to be adjusted to suit the site, whether users need to be grouped by coloured tokens, restricted by time or managed more securely.

The function card pack is particularly useful for sites using Paxton Compact or Switch2 systems where access requirements may change over time. It gives administrators a simple way to add control options without replacing the access control system.
