Overview Features

The Paxton 166-110 Reader Cable is a 10-core, halogen-free cable supplied on a 100m reel, designed for extending the connection between Paxton readers/keypads and the control unit.

All Paxton readers and keypads are pre-wired with a 5m cable, but if a longer run is required, this cable must be used to maintain system performance and compliance.

The maximum distance from reader to control unit is 100m. For cable runs over 25m, the 12V and 0V cores should be doubled up to minimise voltage drop and ensure reliable operation.
