Notifier NFXI-TFIX58 Fixed Temperature 58°C Heat Detector - White

The Notifier NFXI-TFIX58 Fixed Temperature 58°CHeat Detector - White is a fixed-temperature, analogue addressable heat sensor that uses low-mass thermistors and advanced microprocessor technology to deliver fast response times and accurate, linear temperature measurement. The linear output enables temperature detection across the 58°C (Class A1S) to 78°C (Class BS) range.

The Notifier NFXI-TFIX58 Fixed Temperature 58°C Heat Detector - White uses the same thermistor and microprocessor platform but triggers an alarm if the temperature rises at a rate greater than approximately 10°C per minute, or if it exceeds 58°C (Response Class A1R). Through the Opal protocol, the device can be configured via software as a fixed 58°C sensor, a fixed 78°C sensor, or a 58°C sensor with rate-of-rise detection. For compatibility with existing systems and approvals, all three configurations also remain available as separate part numbers.

All three heat sensors feature sensing elements that can be adjusted by the control panel via the Opal Protocol, allowing sensitivity thresholds to be tailored to suit changes in the environment being protected. Each detector includes built-in short-circuit isolation and two tri-colour LEDs that provide 360° visibility of device status. The LEDs can be programmed to show static or flashing red, amber, or green indications.
