Code: FDS201/211
The System Sensor 22051TE-26 is an addressable photoelectric smoke and thermal multi-criteria fire detector from the Series 200 Advanced range. It combines photoelectric smoke sensing with thermal detection in a single plug-in device, using embedded software to manage both sensing elements as one detector. This approach provides enhanced false alarm immunity while supporting faster response across a wide range of developing fire conditions.
The thermal element uses thermistor technology with a software-corrected linear temperature response. The detector conforms to EN54-5 as a 58°C fixed temperature and rate-of-rise thermal detector, while the smoke sensing element conforms to EN54-7.
Sensitivity thresholds for the sensing elements can be controlled from the fire alarm panel, allowing detector behaviour to be adapted to the requirements of the protected area. It can also be programmed to operate in heat-only mode during periods when normal activities may otherwise cause unwanted alarms, before reverting to full photo-thermal operation during unoccupied periods.
Two integral tri-colour LEDs provide 360° local status indication using red, amber and green, with static or blinking indications available. Rotary decade address switches support straightforward device addressing, while the Series 200 Advanced Protocol provides enhanced device control and management. The detector is mechanically and electrically backwards compatible with existing Series 200 plus devices and is suitable for use with B501AP Series and specified B500 Series bases.
