The KAC Emergency Door Release Key Switch provides a secure and controlled method for operating emergency door release systems.
Designed as an alternative to traditional green break glass “Push to Exit” units, this key switch helps prevent accidental or malicious activation while still allowing authorised users to quickly release emergency doors when required.
The device features a 2-position key switch mechanism that enables controlled door release through key operation only, making it suitable for environments where restricted access to emergency release devices is necessary.
Built with KAC’s trusted reliability, the unit offers a robust design suitable for both surface and flush mounting, providing flexibility during installation.
Two versions are available to suit different operational requirements: a key trapped model, which ensures the key remains in the unit during operation, and a key removable version for more flexible access control.
The KAC Emergency Door Release Key Switch is commonly used in access control systems, emergency exit doors and secure environments where controlled door release is required.
Key trapped (K21SGS-12) & removal key (K20SGS-12) models available
Single pole NC /C / NO switch
