The Gent M1A-R470SF-G017-01 Surface Manual Call Point is a reliable and easy-to-use conventional MCP designed for use with fire alarm control panels. Featuring a re-settable operating element, it eliminates the need for glass replacement while maintaining a clear and visible activation indication.
Designed for flexibility, the unit can be installed as either semi-flush or surface mounted and is supplied in the standard red finish. With a 470 Ohm resistor and normally open contact, it integrates seamlessly into conventional fire alarm systems.
A hinged transparent cover can be added to help prevent accidental activation, making it suitable for areas where false alarms are a concern. The unit also allows for functional testing via a test key, enabling quick and safe maintenance without triggering a full alarm condition.
