FireSmart Fire Rated Single Unmonitored Slim Maglock with Door Status

The FireSmart Fire Rated Single Unmonitored Slim Maglock with Door Status is a surface-mounted electromagnetic lock designed for access control applications where a compact, fire-rated locking solution is required. Its slim design makes it suitable for doors where space is limited, while the silver anodised aluminium finish provides a clean, professional appearance.

The maglock provides a holding force of up to 275kg, or 600lb, and operates on a selectable 12Vdc or 24Vdc supply. It is a fail-safe device, meaning power is required to keep the lock engaged. This makes it suitable for controlled door access systems where the lock needs to release when power is removed.

Built-in MOV protection helps protect against spikes and surges, while anti-residual magnetism protection helps prevent the lock from sticking after release. The unit also includes door status monitoring via a reed switch door contact, allowing the system to identify whether the door is open or closed.

The maglock is supplied with the top plate, armature plate and fixings required for installation. It is designed for operation between -10°C and +55°C and can be used in humidity levels from 0 to 95% non-condensating.
