FireSmart Fire Rated Single Monitored Slim Maglock with Door Status

The FireSmart Fire Rated Single Monitored Slim Maglock with Door Status is a surface-mounted electromagnetic lock designed for access control applications where a compact, fire-rated locking device is required. Its slim profile makes it suitable for doors where installation space is limited, while the silver anodised aluminium finish provides a clean, professional appearance.

The maglock provides a holding force of up to 275kg, or 600lb, and operates from a selectable 12Vdc or 24Vdc supply. It uses fail-safe operation, meaning power is required to keep the lock engaged. If power is removed, the lock releases, making it suitable for controlled door access systems that require fail-safe release behaviour.

This monitored version includes both lock monitoring and door status monitoring. A red/green LED indicator provides clear local status indication, while the relay output offers COM/NO/NC connections rated at 1A @ 24Vdc. Door status is provided through a reed switch door contact.

The unit includes MOV spike and surge protection to help protect against electrical disturbance, along with anti-residual magnetism protection to help prevent sticking after release. The top plate, armature plate and fixings are included for installation.

Designed for operation between -10°C and +55°C, the maglock is suitable for a range of controlled access environments, including commercial buildings, offices, communal entrances and internal security doors.
