FireSmart BS5839 Fire Alarm Mains Isolator with Keyswitch (Red)

The FireSmart BS5839 Fire Alarm Mains Isolator with Keyswitch provides a dedicated means of safely isolating a fire alarm control panel from its 240V AC mains supply.

The keyswitch allows the key to be removed in any switch position and uses the durable, proven ‘901’ engineer’s key format. An internal fuse is included within the isolator, providing a practical all-in-one solution for the mains connection to the fire alarm panel.

Manufactured from fire-rated ABS, the isolator is supplied with a back box for straightforward surface installation. It can also be flush mounted using a standard electrical gang box, giving flexibility to suit different installation requirements and finishes.

The unit is described as BS5839 compliant and is suitable for applications where safe isolation of the fire alarm panel from the mains supply is required.
