FireShield FireFighter Aerosol Fire Extinguisher

The FireShield FireFighter Aerosol Fire Extinguisher provides a compact, easy-to-store option for tackling smaller fires where fast access to fire protection is important. Its 650ml aerosol format makes it suitable for keeping in vehicles, kitchens, offices, workshops, boats, cupboards, toolboxes and other locations where a conventional full-size extinguisher may be impractical.

Operation is straightforward. Remove the cap, keep the can upright and aim at the base of the fire, spraying from side to side. The extinguisher carries a 5A and 5F fire rating, making it suitable for small Class A fires involving combustible solid materials and Class F fires involving cooking oils and fats.

The FireFighter uses a PFAS-free, fluorine-free foam solution with nitrogen propellant. The formula is non-toxic, stain resistant and designed to provide practical fire protection without the ongoing maintenance or servicing requirements associated with larger extinguishers.

For safe use, a minimum distance of 1 metre from the fire should be maintained. The extinguisher must not be used on gas fires, liquid fuel fires or live electrical equipment.
